Is this a joke ticket? Perhaps commentary on the state of Atom since it's being unjustly sunset? One of two things will happen:

1. Atom community edition will take over.

2. Something better than Atom in all ways will replace it and fill the void within a couple years.

If 1, great, just hope there's a quick jaunt to make the source code more understandable.

If 2, let's hope it arrives sooner rather than later. In the meantime, there's the off chance to run Atom as a portable app.
