Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) support?

  • Are you running Postgres Operator in production? [no]

I'm currently in the evaluation phase for using this postgres operator for production workloads but I'm not confident it'll properly work on Oracle Cloud (OCI).

I saw support for AWS, GCP and Azure clouds especially around Object Storage backups but I'm wondering if the same can be achieved on OCI as well.

If it's not supported as of today, are there plans to add support for it? Is it even clear what kind of functionality might not work on OCI?

Support for platforms other than AWS must be provided by the community and will neither be tested nor maintained by us. Sorry. We can only encourage to contribute and help with code reviews, but running Postgres at Zalando is our main focus. We are not selling or promoting our operator as a product like other Postgres support companies are doing. (maybe we should and get rich :smiling_face_with_tear: )
