"new alert" button in Alert defs page brings to check definition page

While it makes no sense to create an alert without a check, it's confusing that this button just brings to the other page. A simple fix would be just renaming the button into something that allows to understand that the button will only move to the other page (i.e. "go to check def page") or have a different UI component to search for the check first.
