Getting members of large groups
ADSI limits returned objects of multi valued attributes (Windows 2000 limits to 1000 and Windows 2003 an onwards limits to 1500)
Getting group members and/or syncing them causes problem for large groups.
See: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms676302 https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa772308
To reproduce simply create a group with more than 1500 members.
Same problem with 0.5.2. Any solution to this?
Microsoft references range request.
An other way would be to make ldap query:
- memberOf=#OU of the group#
I'm new to working with AD with Python. I can use the ADQuery to get the group CN but not sure how to get to the members.
Do you have an example of using memberOf=?
