(Feature Request) Hid hidden notes from `similar notes` view
I have written in gitter but didn't receive an answer. So I decided to write here.
Is this planning to be implemented?
- Hide the
hidden notes
from the similar notes - Add a description for the custom attributes
- Search by attributes (for example, search only notes with #custom_attribute)
I have also written to @zadam (email) about sponsorship but didn't receive a response.
Thanks!
P.S. Sorry for creating the issue instead of the Discussion
Hi,
The bulk of questions/answers/related talk happens in the "Discussion" tab of the repo, and it's also better to post over there instead of opening an issue, unless you're interested in the party we'll throw when the repo gets 1k issues =D
Regarding your questions:
- I don't quite understood what exactly you meant regarding hidden notes and similar notes
- I never had thought of that, perhaps is something that more people wants
- You already can do that, by the way Trilium has an absolute amazing search, you can do way more than that, more info in the wiki.
About sponsorship, AFAIK you can use github sponsors.

I meant it:
There are many necessary notes in the list.

Oh, I see, thanks.

I know about github sponsor
, but I want to support with xmr (monero). Is that possible?
Oh, I see, but unfortunately I can't help with the hidden/similar notes, perhaps searching the repo both in Issues and Discussion may help you understand if this is planned, or perhaps we wait for @zadam to answer.
Also about the monero, I think that only @zadam will be able to answer you.
I hope you don't mind, i'm re-naming this issue to be focused on the "hiding hidden notes from similar notes" part of your questions.
I think I missed this issue when it was created.
By "hidden notes" do you mean some existing mechanism or do you propose a new one? We have a similar concept of "archived notes" and these are being penalized.
Note that the "similar notes" is a kind of failed experiment in my view. It does not produce very good results and often has a lot of false positives.
