Hi, normally Trilium tries to show the linked note in a popup, I remember there were problems with that looking similarly.
I can't reproduce this though. It would be great if you would be willing to provide a ZIP export of notes using which I can reproduce that, in that case please send it to [email protected]

It's the same problem as in https://github.com/zadam/trilium/issues/2794
Unfortunately I didn't figure out how to fix this fully, but it seems to me that forcing the tooltip to always show at the bottom makes the flickering happen not so often.
