No way to disable kwallet

Why doesn't lookit allow me to disable starting kwalletd?

Are you using KDE? It uses the system wallet to store passwords securely. I'm probably not going to move away from that, but I guess I could have it not do so if you don't have a password.

I'm actually using Unity, which == GNOME, so I don't understand why it tries to use kwallet :).

Hrm, do you have any KDE applications installed that might have pulled in KWallet? I guess we need to figure out how to set the preferred password wallet

I have the whole KDE Desktop. The problem here is that I'm not using it as my normal system, and Lookit shouldn't be asking me to use kwallet. Even more specifically, it should not ask for a wallet of any kind if I haven't got any passwords to store (it increases the application's footprint without reason).
