Installation help?

How do you install this?

I can't see a make file or similar?

git clone https://github.com/zacharydenton/wavebender.git
cd wavebender
python setup.py install

Done it and it crashed my soundcard (not even resetting alsa is getting sound back (must try restart yet)) Though it gave me a lots of asci when running the examples.
