floating pill

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. On my sony xperia xz1 compact and with Gboard the pill covers part of the space key. I used some setting like moving it to top of the keyboard, chaning its size and moving it to the middle of the screen but it jumps up and down when the keyboard shows up. I'm using it but when it goes down it gets on the way of one keyboard button that I use a lot.

Describe the solution you'd like I suggest making it floating like apple assistive touch virtual home button and with diagonal slides rather than up+left or other combination.

Thanks for your brilliant idea. It gave me extra screen space on the xperia phone. Sony should by it from you to make their phones better. Regards,
