Is this project dead?

It seems that there is discussion since 2017 (#103) about the deprecation of nomnom, it was removed from NPM and it has vulnerabilities.

If no one reply, I think that I will fork this project and publish it to NPM. Unless someone knows an alternative or has already published a fork to npm with fixed vulnerabilities.

EDIT: I've sent him DM on Twitter, he didn't reply.
