Unable to connect to remote Plex

Hello,

First of all, i would like to thank you for this project, i just discovered it recently with all the mess that happened with MAL & stuff, so thank you again for this good project.

My problem is that i'm trying to connect to a remote plex server i have with a friend on the cloud ; i connect via https://app.plex.tv (which redirects me to the server).

So based on the input needed :

server : app.plex.tv (i've also trying an internal name provided by plex) port : 443 (as there's no default 32400 working for this matter) username / password : implemented.

This scenario fails as i'm having this error Tracker (Plex) warning: Plex Media Server is not running. I'm afraid it's because there's https + a remote plex server, but anyway do you have any idea why it's not working ?

Server (host) should probably be the IP of the remote server and not Plex's own website.

As mentionned previously (i've also trying an internal name provided by plex).... And to be honest i think that my friend doens't have a static public IP to use it each time, he's relying on plex services to publish his server to the internet (so the domain name is dynamically generated through plex service). That's why i've tried using app.plex.tv as a workaround.
