Can you share how you installed OpenRazer on the Steam Deck? We also don't officially support Steam Deck so I can't really help you much there.

To my knowledge Steam OS doesn't build openrazer in their repos, but you should be able to find guides online how to install it on SteamOS by building it yourself
For SteamOS you're really on your own. I don't have such hardware so I cannot help much with their system.
Normally the hooks in the package manager should do that I think. Do you have any other DKMS modules installed maybe that behave correctly? Hard to say what openSUSE expects...

Since the mouse should work without OpenRazer installed (as in mouse functionality, without RGB settings), does the mouse behave the same way without openrazer installed?
