Uninstall?

Is there a proper way to uninstall media foundation again without trying to read the mf-install.sh by yourself? Just making a new wineprefix doesn't seem that easy when using proton without losing your data.

Nope.

You could copy all the dll files over from a fresh Wine prefix and in winecfg remove the old Wine prefix dll overrides in the Libraries tab.

The registry entries would still remain though.

I've never had a problem just deleting Wine prefixes personally, especially with most games having save files in Steam cloud.
