Unsubscribe button should not be on the cover

CPod version: CPod 1.27.0 Windows 7 Description: This is a great piece of software. There are almost no other podcast manager for windows 7 as nice looking as CPod. I thank you and everybody helping you in this project. I do have some suggestions to improve it. Clicking on the podcast cover/thumbnail should open the details. Please remove the unsubscribe button from cover/thumbnail as someone like me can accidentally unsubscribe. It will be good if episode count is shown on cover icon

Thanks for the kind words about CPod.

The unsubscribe button was originally not on the podcast thumbnail, but I added it in response to a user's suggestion. I think what I'll do is move the unsubscribe button back into the podcast details, and add a multiple selection feature to the podcast list in order to preserve ease of unsubscription.

Hi, I am getting very poor UX in Windows with these unsubscribe buttons so big, it is impossible to access the podcast information and episode list.

Considering the last activity on this bug, I guess it has fallen through the cracks. I have a small idea that might help: make the unsubscribe button a small 5x5 px (or whatever size you judge convenient) on one corner of the tile that shows only a minus sign and an alternative text popup "Unsubscribe".

Hi, I'm using CPod since just one hour and really really like it! Unfortunately I have the same issue as shad90, the unsubscribe button on the cover causes that I often unsubscribe by accident.

As already proposed, I would also recommend to just open the podcasts details when clicking on its tile.

Would be very nice if you could manage to fix this.

Amen! to the comments above! It is too easy to hit the Unsubscribe button on the thumbnail!

When one unsubscribes, unless the feed contains all the back episodes, resubscribing only pulls up the current episodes in the feed.

Here's an example from an experiment I did: The mintCast podcast only has the last 10 episodes in its feed. I had 20 episodes in CPod, and after unsubscribing and resubscribing, there were only 10. To make matters worse, I had downloaded the 20 episodes, and while one would think they would all reappear when resubscribing, they did not.

In order to play any downloaded episodes not in the current feed, one has to navigate to the offline episodes folder and play them in another player. They won't even open in CPod. Cumbersome!

Please fix this! CPod is otherwise a great app, but for me this could be a deal breaker.

I have to agree that the Unsubscribe button is far too prominent. Best would be to remove both Unsubscribe and Details buttons from the tile, and just open details directly when the tile is clicked.

And where ever the Unsubscribe ends up, it should have a confirmation popup.
