SuperTuxKart: Can open the game, but cannot play it
Is there an existing issue for this?

Description of Issue
It is possible to open the game now, but I cannot play it:
Expected Behavior
I expected it to be possible to switch from USB to Bluetooth or vice versa. But a message that mentions that you have to reconfigure the controller if you switch them is a good starting point.
Reproduction Steps
- Downloaded https://github.com/supertuxkart/stk-code/releases/download/1.3/SuperTuxKart-1.3-switch.zip
- Placed the stk-data in ~/.local/share/yuzu/sdmc/
- File -> Load File -> stk.nro

You must select "Open yuzu Folder" and place stk-data in the sdmc directory. Then the game should be able to boot.

Oh, this was mentioned in https://github.com/supertuxkart/stk-code/issues/4806#issuecomment-1296442561 -- Thanks. I'll try it soon. Please give me a week.

I'm sorry but it didn't work. No thumbnail icon is visible, only the name of the directory, and nothing happens when I'm clicking on it.
Can you please download the game and try it yourself and write the exact steps from scratch for me?
I'm evaluating Yuzu for the Free Software Foundation.
I had already done that as of writing the above.
Be sure you have
1: placed stk-data inside your sdmc directory
2: launched stk.nro
The game has rendering issues at the moment but it boots fine.

Thanks.

Is the rendering issue caused by Yuzu or the game (see the issue that I filed for SuperTuxKart)?
On Yuzu it has rendering problems runs fine on the Switch (try it on your Switch to see)

Oh, that's useful to know, thanks! Should we open a new issue for it?
I don't own a Nintendo Switch. I just opened this issue to help development.
