Intel has terrible OpenGL drivers, nothing we can do there.

This issue is about Vulkan, though. I experienced the same thing on:

  • 5900X, 3080Ti
  • EA 2888, Vulkan
  • Normal GPU Accuracy and Async Shader Compile enabled.

I'm guessing that either normal GPU accuracy and/or async shader compile could make this happen. Not sure which is more likely to give these results though.

Regarding Intel Vulkan, we're currently lacking 12th gen graphics hardware to test with, see if Linux drivers behave better there. I'll ask around regarding Ampere, at least Turing and RDNA2 behave "correctly" (or the current state of correctly) for me.

Could you upload me a save file in later sections? To make it easier to reproduce, the start of the game seems to be fine on Ampere.
