Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE: Desyncs in scripted cutscenes

  • CPU: Ryzen 3700x

In many scripted cutscenes in the game Tokyo Mirage Sessions FE Encore [0100A9400C9C2000] there are desyncs between the character motion, the subtitles and the audio occurring. I've tried toggling all of the following options but they don't change behavior:

  • OpenGL or Vulkan rendering
  • Multicore CPU Emulation
  • CPU Accuracy 'Accurate'
  • asynchronous GPU emulation
  • GPU accuracy level 'Extreme'
  • Fast GPU Time

Just load the first save slot and walk forward, the following cutscene will desync in a very obvious way.

Can confirm this is an issue, but iirc it only happens on certain ones

Still occurs for Steam Deck
