Tears of the Kingdom hangs on "Assertion Failed!" and spawns an unkillable process

Description of Issue

apologies if this is a dupe. occasionally when launching TotK, the game will hang on the black screen right after the red and blue loading bar. after closing, there is still a yuzu.exe process in the task manager that prevents yuzu from opening again and cannot be killed via any means due to a windows quirk. this means the pc has to be restarted, which is obviously very annoying since it can happen multiple times in a row. please let me know if you need me to reproduce with any debug settings enabled as i am evidently the only person having this issue.

Expected Behavior

the game should just boot without issue.

1. Open TotK
2. Game may launch or hang on black screen
