Import from and export to HTML?

Is there a way to import and export HTML like in other WYSIWYGs? I am writing a templating app and i need to be able to parse the doc into HTML so i can use a templating engine to find and replace certain doc elements. i.e. {{Company.name}} becomes Microsoft Ltd. Thanks btw for starting this cool library!
