No videos play on lite or pro

Worked earlier yesterday... yesterday afternoon it didn’t. I’ve never seen this before but the screen just turns black when you try to play anything. I’ve restarted the firestick multiple times, logged into different accounts...

one time I did see a survey, and sometimes the text “contains paid promotion” is displayed but still black screen

Using version 6.17.730 having the same issue here. Running on a Fire Stick 4k.

But FYI, this is a dead project, Yuliskov is now working on this project: https://github.com/yuliskov/SmartTubeNext I would advise to just switch to that.

If you download the beta link this problem is gone. I checked out the link to SmartTubeNext and it seems to be the same thing as the beta. Why have two projects? Just upgrade us to SmartTubeNext - it is FANTASTIC!
