Feature Request: Random Play order of Playlist.
If we can have a sidebar button to play in random order when when hold on a playlist it will be very nice
Bump, as this would be insanely helpful for long playlists that play in the background. I have noticed that this also isn't a feature in standard YouTube for TV's, so there might not be a quick and easy way to import this functionality.
I'd really love this feature too!! In fact, this is the only thing I miss from the original YT app because I use it mainly to listen to long music playlists. So, let's just hope for the developer to have some time to dedicate to implement this. ;)
The shuffle features already in place seem not to be affecting playback if started from phone app by casting.
If it works for one song, I see it return to the playlist order after one or a few songs.
My playlist is about 900 songs big. So it maybe is a problem with the size of the playlist?

Still having this exact same issue . There is no shuffle option in playlist from SmartTube, and casting a playlist with random button just shuffle the first video, then it resume the playlist order from the beginning
It's 2025, why is this not a feature 😑 there's no revanced Spotify for Android TV so I'm stuck with smart tube for music but I can't shuffle my music in my playlist.
