[BUG]: 404 error when downloading apk

Steps to reproduce the bug
In AFTVnews Downloader, enter URL for smarttubenext and select download on either stable or beta version.
Actual behavior
When the download link on the smarttube website is selected a 404 error results saying that nothing was found. I have confirmed that unknown sources can install apps and I've turned off verify apps.

Smart tube disappeared (was force uninstalled/deleted?) on my Shield. I went to redownload, and got the 404 for both stable and beta
+1 to this issue, we need a compiled apk with a new signature from the maintainer probably. Based on the many notifications and the fact that the announcement was made just a couple of hours ago I'd bet they're working on this rn.
I'm facing the same issue the apk file just disappeared from the release section.?
Yup, confirmed on my end as well. Nvidia Shield user.
App suddenly closed down and had vanished from my favorited apps. Found it sitting under 'Disabled Apps' under 'Apps' in the settings menu. I get a 404 page as well when searching the download link via Downloader.
I have a Xiaomi tv stick 4k The app was auto deleted by the OS a couple of hours ago Then I went to reinstall and found this thread so I'm waiting for the new apk
right, since today 5:30 UTC+0100 no updates are possible anymore, so i removed the old SmartTube and also wait for the new one here on Github as apk source. Thanks to the dev for being care of us users and protect us from any harm :heart:!
Don't download any APK from other sources. You can disable Google Protect for now and re-enable the currently installed version (with "adb shell pm enable com.teamsmart.videomanager.tv"). This is assuming the currently installed version was the official one (don't install anything else while Google Protect is off). When the new version (with new certificate) becomes available, you can switch to that one (and re-enable Google Protect).
For reference I did this to disable play protect and re-enable the app temporarily: *after you have enabled usb debugging/adb debugging on your device and it is communicating with adb etc. $ adb shell settings put global package_verifier_user_consent -1 $ adb shell pm list packages -d package:com.liskovsoft.smarttubetv.beta $ adb shell pm enable com.liskovsoft.smarttubetv.beta Package com.liskovsoft.smarttubetv.beta new state: enabled

Alright, I have it running again. This time the beta version.
Been living ad-free for so long now that as soon as I use something like Youtube it hits twice as hard as it used to. 😅
Same here. Philips tv with Android. Yesterday smartube just disappeared. I had an installer but doesn't work . By now we are in a black hole
They were online earlier both stable and beta. Now 404 error again. Must be an issue going on. I'm gonna wait it out.

not from me here in germany with CloudFlare DNS resolver, both links refer to thew new apk files (tested right now)
Here my one from yesterday, this the stable one (rename it from .txt to .apk first, apk files are not allowed to attach) smarttube_stable.txt
here the now downloaded beta (same here rename from .txt to .apk smarttube_beta.txt
I have installed the new one using the instructions: (easiest) install Downloader by AFTVnews on your Android TV, open it and enter kutt.it/stn_beta Then I uninstalled the old version, and restored play protect using adb $ adb shell settings put global package_verifier_user_consent 1
