Steps to reproduce the bug

How to Reproduce (Steps):

  1. Play any video with subtitles enabled. (e.g. https://youtu.be/L-BgxLtMxh0 or https://youtu.be/9W0Dy1nM-zU )

  2. Wait for a subtitle line that includes formatting (like a character's name in italics or a sound effect).

  3. Example from a movie: The line is showing as <i>Cap, it's Sam. Can you hear me?</i>

  4. Expected Result: The text "Cap, it's Sam. Can you hear me?" should be displayed in italics , without the < i> and < /i> tags visible.

  5. Actual Result: The literal text < i>Cap, it's Sam. Can you hear me?< /i> is displayed on screen, showing the formatting tags.

Actual behavior

The literal text <i>Cap, it's Sam. Can you hear me?</i> is displayed on screen, showing the formatting tags.

Additional information

Image Affected Feature: Subtitles/Captions

This looks like a small, quick fix. It appears the code is correctly fetching the subtitle text, but it's rendering the raw text including the HTML/XML tags..
