[BUG]: Video freezes/glitches out occassionally

Steps to reproduce the bug
Occasionally while watching videos, they will freeze and glitch/stutter back and forth for a few seconds before continuing to play normally. (It almost looks like its quickly swapping between two frames back and forth). The audio continues to play without any issues while the video glitches out. Cannot replicate it on purpose, happens randomly and not in the same spot/video if I try to repeat it.
Actual behavior
Stutter/visual glitch for a few seconds, looks like a quick back and forth of two frames, audio continues playing normally during the glitch.
Additional information
Device is a smart tv, specifically the VU Vibe DV. It's running android tv os version 12. Security patch dec 5, 2025. Android TV OS build ver. STT2.230929.001.080. I believe the tv might be using some kind of Hisense motherboard if that helps.
Additional info from aida64 on the tv - Core architecture - 4x Arm cortex a55 CPU Hardware - mt5896 GPU renderer - Mali-G52 Board - his9603
Internet connection is stable in other apps like Plex, moonlight, etc.

It's pretty difficult to watch videos with the interruptions

Tested out the latest beta, both issues are still present. Initially they seemed to be happening less often but I can't be certain on frequency.

Hello, the two issues I've mentioned still haven't been resolved in any of the beta updates since I opened the issue. I'm not sure if the probable cause that Figim mentioned was looked into but I was wondering if it's still being investigated.
I have tried every beta update since and both issues persist, the random video stopping and then starting again from where it stopped and the visual freeze/artifact for a few seconds while audio keeps playing.
