[Feature Request]: Option to use SmartTube as a media player for audio and video

Can the developer please add in a future update, the option to allow SmartTube to be used as a media player for none YouTube media. So I have music tracks saved to my device and it would be good to use them with the SmartTube media player as it has the option "Screen Off" that I'd like to use whilst audio/video plays. If this could be implemented it would be great. Thanks

Since, if I understand correctly, ST is effectively a custom web browser for YouTube Web, I wonder if a specific html template/server combination could allow additional access to locally served files? (DLNA, UPnP or HTTP/S Media Server? WebDAV?) I'm fooling around with casting/remote control atm, as an interim workaround for cross-platform streaming. Thanks to your suggested feature, I'm now also wondering if I can trick ST into into accepting a casting link from another mobile app (music/video player) from my phone. Making stuff do things they were never intended or designed to do is the spice of life! "Hmm. How ELSE can I break it?!" 😄
