[BUG]: Watch history not updating

Steps to reproduce the bug

1. Watch a video for 10 seconds.
2. Watch history is not updated.

Actual behavior

Watch history isn't being updated as soon as I load a video. I don't know the exact timing threshold, but watch history isn't being updated right away. This was not an issue in earlier versions and I can load a video on my phone/computer and it will load into my watch history instantly.

Same issue for me. Have to play a video much longer to get it to show up in history.
