[Feature Request]: Mark as watched

The subscription list feature to hide videos that are watched is great. I would like to mark videos as watched without watching them.

Describe the solution you'd like

If "hide watched videos" is enabled in the options I suggest to make a long press action on each video to "mark as watched". Sometimes I watch a video but it's not marked as watched. Or I just don't want to watch it and remove it from the list. Or just watch it partially and don't want to watch the rest. I also suggest, if possible, to make a long press action on the "subscriptions" menu item to "mark all as watched". If you clear your watched list, e.g. because the recommendations got crazy or whatever other reason you have many unwatched videos in the subscriptions. It helps to "clear the list".

I agree, "Mark as Watched" would be a great feature Additionally, a "Mark as Unwactched" would also be welcome, if this is possible.

@steros that's been actually working fine weeeeeks ago and was reported immediately after it stopped... no response from devs on that for a long time... see this: https://github.com/yuliskov/SmartTube/issues/4177

@mwlandof , i take it that this is about "hide watched videos" feature or something specific ? As personally, i would love to have a "Mark as Watched" + "Unmark from Watched" option in the Context menu. I am on the latest version, and this feature is not yet available in any menu.

Not in the Subscription panel, or on any panel.

@BourgeoisDirk it is about 'mark as watched" - check #4177 thread. It is available for a long time... and for a long time (since January or so) it is faulty - it marks video with red line at first and put it in history but when you back red line is gone.

@mwlandof , my bad, apparently i did not have this option enabled yet in the settings. With the "Mark as Watched" being available, i still wonder if a "Unmark from Watched" is possible ? Thank you kindly for the update !

Thanks for the suggestion @mwlandof ! I searched the settings up and down. But only after you mentioned it, I found it. And it actually works for me.

So I updated this ticket to make a "mark all as watched" additionally (if possible).
