[Feature Request]: Multiview / Split Screen Feature?

Describe the feature you'd like to request

I'd love to see some sort of multiview or split screen feature incorporated in the app, like YouTube TV has. It'd make the app a great go-to choice for watching live news coverage from multiple sources at the same time.

Describe the solution you'd like

I'd like the feature to have options to show 2 screens, 4 screens, or 6 screens. When a feed is highlighted, there's a narrow right ring around it so that you know it's selected, and the sound comes from that feed. When you click the OK button, you can access controls such as pausing, rewinding, and backing out to select a different feed.

Describe alternatives you've considered

SmartTV, the Twitch client on Google TV. It works exactly how I'd want it to, but YouTube has better live news content than Twitch does.

Seconding this feature. Sometimes there are multiple people streaming their POVs, and it would be nice to be able to collect them all in one place and flip through the individual perspectives without having to back out of/enter each stream individually to see a different POV.

At this point, I think it's worth referencing a project called Holodex.

Sure, but that doesn't solve the Android/Google TV problem, and using a browser on those devices is not a solution.
