Affected version

24.14

Device Type

Smart TV/Box

Affected Android

Firestick - Fire OS 7.6.8.1

Steps to reproduce the bug

  1. Disable all "Hide unwanted content".
  2. Add subscribed to channels to a subscription group, choose channels which have shorts (whether or not they also have non-shorts on as well), and the shorts are visible when looking at the channel under the Channel section.
  3. Go to the subscription group.
  4. There are no shorts in the group.

Actual behavior

There are no shorts in subscription groups, even if all the "Hide unwanted content" options are switched off, the options do nothing, shorts from channels you are subscribed to are hidden whether you want them to be or not (I know shorts are not popular but some people do want the ones from channels they are subscribed to).

Additional information

In some of the betas where the option for subscription groups had been enabled, since subscription groups did contain shorts, creating one allowed a workaround to the unfixed bug mentioned here: https://github.com/yuliskov/SmartTube/issues/2731 where the Subscriptions section is missing shorts even if all the "Hide unwanted content" options are switched off. On this version however they don't, again even if all the "Hide unwanted content" options are switched off.
