[BUG]: app keeps resetting

Steps to reproduce the bug
since the 403 fix I keep losing my search and watch history, which I think is caused by a unstable connection but can not be sure. would probably be less of a problem if i logged in but I don't have any data i want google to sell.
any time i see 403 or 404 error fix being applied don't close the app i know the very next thing i'll need to do is close the app then restore a backup. also the restore backup/restore has become laggy and can take up to a minute to open (my shield is still quite new and very responsive)
Actual behavior
all search/watch history dissapears.
i'm currently having to use a 4G router in a low signal area and i feel it's related to connection drop outs, since the 403 auto-fix. prior to that no problem like this.

I’m experiencing this as well, search/watch history disappears. I’ve noticed if video being played gets paused like buffering for a while then when I press back button and use the search bar all search history is gone along with watched videos. This has been happening with prior versions before this update as well, as long as you don’t fully exit app like kill app seems like search watch history still remains
wondering if other users are experiencing this too. Using chrome cast with google tv
