403? fix
auto updated, changelog claimed 403 fix. I never had 403 issues before this "fix". waited, like a half hour later another update, changelog 22.37 said simply "another 403 fix?".
everything loads, but nothing plays black screen with 403 error.
I run app on a fire TV. never had any problems until today
Same here, also never had 403. Also with FireTV Stick. Now, with this Update every Video comes up with 403, can't play anything.
Does the Version 22.36 still work on firetv?
FYI. I downgraded to 22.19 (previous stable version) and it is also not working
Upgraded this morning. App was working fine until about an hour ago. Started getting 403 error, just like yesterday. Checked for updates and updated to 22.37 (from 22.36) but that didn't help.
(Have a suspension that it's youtube that are putting sticks in the wheel)
Same issue. Uninstall/re-install did not help. I bet google is the issue. They are notorious for that kind of stuff.
For what its worth, I encountered the 403 error today and THEN installed the update that was supposed to fix it, but still getting the error. So in my case at least, the update had nothing to do with it.
weird I keep checking for an update, and found out, in my situation, any live stream that I've clicked on works, it appears that only uploaded videos don't.

Never had 403 before today. Worked for a couole hours after todays update. RSBN still loads and plays.

The point is that there are 30 different issues for the same problem. Discussions and strategies happen all over the place and more happen every hour. In every issue people report the same thing, try the same attempts at remediation, find it doesn't work, repeat. Duplicates should be closed to prevent the chaos but the dev does not care about open issues or managing them, so only users close them.
22.38 is getting the streams, but the audio is doing something odd. It seems like voices are muffled while music, sfx come through at higher quality. Not sure why that would be. Also there are only two option for audio quality.

It's fixed! Settings -> about -> update.
Or grab the 22.38 stable (hd only) or the 22.39 beta to get full resolution.
