Shorts are always hidden from channel
Hello, First off, I want to say that I love this app. Thanks so much for the time and effort put in!
Anyhow, I just updated to the latest version (running on my Firestick), and noticed that all the shorts of every channel are now hidden. I went into “Settings->Hide unwanted content” and made sure that “Hide shorts from Channel” was unchecked. I tried toggling it on and off but it made no difference. I can no longer see shorts on any of the Channels. It’s almost as if youtube API changed recently and broke your app. The device I’m using is a Fire TV Stick 4k Max with the current version (but I highly doubt this issue is device related).
Hi, This issue doesn't appear device related because I have the same problem and I'm using a nvidia shield pro. I also checked all the settings and made sure those were set correctly. Then I tried to uninstall and reinstall the app, but that didn't help. Hope it gets fixed, and thanks for all the work.
Same here. There is basically no way to find channel shorts anymore. They never appeared in subscriptions, but at least you could have gone to the channel directly and watch them. Now, going to the channel, only regular videos appear.
Just to add to this defect, it looks like the app is highlighting the channel when a new Short is uploaded, but you still can’t see it. It’s a bit strange because the loading of the video (thumbnails) on the channel seems slower now, but only channels that regularly upload Shorts
Same problem here, I even reset the entire app but still no shorts. Amazon FireStick 4k. Btw, thanks for the awesome app!

I am also not seeing shorts in my channel feeds, despite the channels showing an update. Some of my subscriptions, such as Vsauce, are mostly shorts, so they only show years old content.
It's a minor annoyance, but I hope there's a fix for it.
This popped up not in the most recent release, but the one before that. Nvidia 2019 shield. I get a swirl like its working on something, and it appears that its removing the shorts from the list.
Along with that, the date on shorts doesn't display until after you watch it.
I had a similar issue on Firestick. A lot of my subscriptions are shorts only these days. The only work around I found was to open the channel when "new content" was detected and then scroll to the shorts section for that channel.
Any chance we can get this fixed soon? Nvidia shield here, would love to have my shorts back please :)
Anyone try rolling back 2-3 versions to see if the shorts reappear in the channel view? I don't know if its an app issue or if youtube changed how they feed videos.
Thanks! I saw it earlier and it seems to work great! Shorts now appear in the channel view.
Shorts are showing everywhere regardless of the unwanted content settings, now it's broken for those who do not want shorts displayed.
I literally don't want to see shorts videos. This bug works perfectly for me.
