Set framerate/resolution to lower quality stream when increasing the videospeed so it plays smooth

I'm using the app on an LG 4K TV and frequently use the videospeed option. My videoformat default is the highest resolution/bitrate but that results is a very stuttering video when played at 3x the speed.

If I set the framerate/resolution to 720p@30/25 the 3x videospeed runs super smooth.

It would be awesome that the app would temporarily lower resolution/framerate when activating videospeed.
