Ads are played in SmartTube (v.20.68) on Xiaomi TV Box

Hello, I installed the latest Betta version of SmartTube (20.68) on Xiaomi TV Box. After logging in, the ads are played before playing the video and also during it. If I do not log in, ads are not played. Please clarify whether it is normal. And what should I do to block the ads.

20240125_172739 I'm also seeing ads in 20.93 on Nvidia Shield.

Maybe ad block home on my router is triggering YouTube to bypass the ad blockers?

Also experiencing frame pacing issues. Sponsor Block no longer works. After selecting video it seems to fallback to the regular youtube player.

I don't recognize the UI on the screenshot. Could you tell me if you are casting from the phone?

Inside the SmartTube app, it was reverting to the regular YouTube interface when playing videos. It may have been been initiated by someone casting a video to the Shield. I can no longer reproduce the problem as it seems to have resolved itself.

I believe my problem was causes by pressing the microphone button on the remote instead of the microphone button in SmartTube app when doing searches that caused the other YouTube app to open on top of the SmartTube app. When I hit back, it closed the YouTube app and brought me back to the SmartTube app.

@Suffice exactly. You've launched the original app.
