[Bug] Playlist page limited in size
Let me just start by saying that I think this is a duplicate of #2801. Since it had no info, no activity and it was posted a few months ago, I decided to create a new ticket. Lmk if that's a problem.
Device: Chromecast with Google TV 4K
Version: Up to date stn_beta
User defined settings:
- User Interface / UI Scale / 1.1x
- Subtitles - Subtitle Style - System style
- General - Set up sections - Home, Channels, Subscriptions, Playlists
- General - Context menu - Toggled "Add / Remove from recent playlist"
Those are the only settings I've changed.
Behavior: My "Watch Later" playlist, which I've added onto the sidebar, shows only 15 entries, even though it has 63 total entries. Scrolling to the bottom does NOT attempt to load more videos (or at least no loading animation is seen).
Attempted fixes:
- Off and on again. Didn't work.
- Remove all data from the app in the settings, login again, set my settings again. This works, but the issue came back a day later.
- Removing the playlist from the sidebar and adding it again. This also worked. I've just figured it out now, so I'll update if it happens again.
I'm also seeing this issue on my FireStick 4K Max (Gen 2) specifically with my Watch Later playlist, it works normally when added to the sidebar but when SmartTube is fully closed and next starts it then limits to 15 video results
I am seeing this as well with my Watch Later playlist on my nvida shield, version 21.54 of SmartTube.
Might wanna be merged: https://github.com/yuliskov/SmartTube/issues/3286
My guess is that there is code to limit loading the number of videos to 15 when the Playlist display mode is set to ROWS.
This is probably to prevent the UI from having to scrolling through 15+ videos horizontally.
However, when Playlist display mode is set to GRID, there should be no limit and it's probably supposed to work that way, but there's a bug that may cause it to happen.
@Qu4tro From 22.81 this issue is resolved for me. How about you?
Yes, it is resolved for me.
