#Bug with version 20.56 (disable history)

Hi team,

After upgrading to 20.56 today, the "disable history" option under General > History is no longer working. Every time I choose the option, it automatically reverts back to "Enable history". I tried to restart the app, but the issue persists.

Please kindly look into it.

Yup. The current version broke the ability to disable history (again). Tried restarting the app, signing out/in, etc.

Same as above. Logged out and back in. I have history off in my youtube account and disabled in SmartTube. When I go to home in SmartTube, history enables itself in settings.Turns History on for Youtube account also.

I have the same issue. For me, history is automatically reverted back to enabled as soon as i watch a video that i access either trough one of the set-up sections (gaming, news, etc) or from searching for it. When i watch a video from my subscription section, history is kept disabled but as soon as i a watch a video in any other way, history is reveted back to enabled - even if it is a video from a channel that i subscribe to.

Same issue here. Originally I thought it was after every update but I can't really figure out what triggers it. I've had to re-disable it every day for the past week. This has been going on for a while, but beta v20.97 seems to have made the issue significantly worse.
