Subtitles showing up despite being disabled

I've been using the setting that remembers which channels to enable subtitles on, and it worked fine for a good while.

Since a short time ago (couple days at most) suddenly subtitles show up despite the setting being disabled on that channel. Enabling and disabling again gets rid of them.

This is on FireTV stick.
