SmartTubeNext has slight audio delay/ at the beginning of each video. Takes 1/2s to load.

I have SmartTubeNext on my 4K Firestick. I have a Samsung TV with a Soundbar (as main audio source output).

When I play a video, the first second or 2 of each video there is no sound. It's as if it's 'loading' and starts playing a few seconds in. Of course if I rewind that same video and start it from the beginning, sound plays.

Does this make sense? Is there a fix or is it just normal?

Blasted. I came here for a solution to this exact problem, but have had no luck so far. For me the problem has persisted for some months now on a Chromecast with Google TV

I've also had this issue, I have a receiver which might be related to the audio delay but this is definitely a problem with smarttube. My guess is there needs to be an async check that waits for the audio to sync before the video plays.

I have the exact same issue. It happens 100% of the time for all videos. I'm using the Walmart Onn 4k streaming device and I have the optical audio port of my LG TV going to my receiver. I haven't seen this issue with any other streaming apps.

Hey guys, same here. It really gets under my skin. I need to restart a video to get context of what is to follow, unless I switch from my Bose BT headphones to a TV speakers. Infuriating.
