No choice to select brand account
After login, I have no choice to select my brand account. Seems to be the same issue as here. I tried both stable and beta version on my FireTV.
Any solution?
Same here. I was SO excited to switch to SmartTube I wish I hadn't created a "brand" sub account back when youtube prompted but that's the one all my subs and history is under, and when I connect smarttube all I get is the main gmail account, NOT that AND the "youtube" handle/account - but it DOES give both in the youtube app under "switch accounts" but in SmartTube, just the google one. :(
EDIT: I'm using current BETA, have not tried stable. Should I?
EDIT2: This is officially the greatest youtube app for firetv! So PLEASE fix this one bug currently preventing "brand" accounts from being used!
Edit: The beta works. It asks me to goto youtube.com/activate to put in a code from the TV. After that it asks on the computer which account to link. Works for Google TV. On stable it just got stuck saying "user code is loading...." so I couldn't do it.

@yuliskov did the auth flow for tv apps change and cause this issue? I no longer get the second step of the login flow during activation that would previously ask to select the channel to use after first selecting a google account

This is still a problem and has been for a while for me. It used to work fine and both accounts were shown as options. I have two sub accounts and only one is loaded. Yet bizarrely shows content from the other one. I've tried logging in multiple times and used multiple different devices, instances and versions of the app.
EDIT: Actually, sorry, solution found for me. I had two accounts but the one that wasn't showing up didn't have a channel as part of the account. I just clicked Create Channel on youtube and it now shows up.
Found a fix: When I signed into Smarttube on firetv with my main account, one of the brand accounts attatched to the main account signed in, while the other one continued saying the auth was invalid.
I changed the channel name of the brand account that didn't work and then logged into my main account on smarttube again, and then that brand account also appeared as logged in under the new name. It likely was a sync issue on youtube/google's side, and the name change probably forced the sync through.
