turning on forced by the app

The newest version installed on the Philips tv with android. It started to force the app to turn on, when I use other tv functions (e.g. I watch tv or a streaming platform). It just stops what I am watching and switches to smarttubenext automatically. I turn it off, go back...and it does the same again, after some time.

I had a similar issue a while back with my chromecast. The solution was to uninstall STN and download the APK again to re-install.
