In app "Install Update" function not working

Notice for new stable release (15.30) popped up on launch of STN. Clicking 'Install Update' does nothing. Running 2019 Nvidia Shield with Android TV version 9.1.0(22.2.0.125). Also sometimes on launch, instead of going to my chosen home page, it opens an empty video with the description "Video unavailable". Have to click back to go to home screen.
