Option to hide / remove ad flagged videos from recommended

I have recently noticed unremovable videos have started to show up as the first video under recommended. Completely irrelevant to my interests.

They also have the "Ad" flag.

Are these leaking through from the yt API somehow?

Still an ongoing issue - is this youtube ads leaking or is this part of the sponsorblock?
