Google Family link account adding not possible

It seems not possible to a family member that use google family link.

Family members whose permissions can be controlled via Family Link cannot be added. The code (youtube / activate) is displayed correctly, but the app crashes afterwards. There are no problems with YouTube itself.

I think I have the same issue: the child account from the family link cannot be correctly signed in. The app keeps prompting me to sign in even I have already 'signed in' with the child account. this particular situation did not happen before the same account is being parentally controlled. But the app does not crash at least in my experience.

Same problem still. Can't succesfully add a child account :(
