I have a layout for a page that includes more than one scroll down screen size. It would be nice if it would be possible to restrict the size of the overlay without using resize so that I can scroll to the section that I want to overlay.

If i understand you, i did add a line to have ability to move window above menu bar, this should help https://github.com/atrbx5/LayerX
