[feat-req]: fade dimming

As this is not a bug, I'm KISSing it and removing the template:

I would like to be able to fade dimming. I don't use transparency, for which there is a fade setting. It works wonderfully for transparency. I would like the same setting but for dimming inactive windows. Thank you.
