[Feature request]: PASSWORD FOR CLOSE SHIFT
When closing the shift from the POS screen, every pos profile should have a password to prevent accidental closure by cashier. Also, in the current way cashier can see all the sales which is not permitted.
Can you explain more?
Scenario: Cashier open the POS System. He makes sales all day. At the end of day the supervisor have to check the sales and collect the cash from cashier. He go on top of the POS system and click CLOSE SHIFT and it shows total sales to tally and make closing entry
Issue: The close shift button can be clicked by cashier also, they can check the daily sales from that. System should ask for 4 digit code to disable popup of total sales for Closing Entry. That password can be set for each user in the POS profile and communicated to supervisor.
BR
There is a workaround for this scenario:
- hide the close shift button from the pos profile
- let the supervisor close the shift manually from Close Shift Doctype
