Meld crashes when trying to select text

This is consistently happening for me. Every time I try to select some text inside Meld for Mac, it crashes. I'm on MacOS 10.12.6 (Sierra), Meld 3.16.0.

I too have the same issue. Is there some debug information that we can provide?

Same here I try to copy between two directories and it crashes.
