Btw, noticing #105 might explain why i keep complaining about missing contacts: if WhatsApp only sends them on pairing, and BitlBee forgets Purple account info, the contact list won't persist...

Great -- just spotted the remoteJid also :) Dev seems to be working ok now.

Thanks -- i've been using it and it's been fine for me. There are some minor niggles, but i don't think they're urgent. At least they're not on my priority...
