packager is not running at http://192.168.12.124:80

Hi I cloned this project and setup the back-end using amplify as mentioned in the docs. But when i run my project using expo start in my android device it returns the following fatal error:

Something went wrong. Packager is not running at http://192.168.12.124:80

And when i run my project in web browser it gives the following error:

Unhandled Rejection (TypeError): expo__WEBPACK_IMPORTED_MODULE_15__.Permissions is null

Please revert .Any help regarding this is appreciated , Thanks in advance
