[suggestion] Button to reset filter text

Would it be possible to add a button to clear the text in the search/filter bar and place cursor in the bar so you can start typing your next search?

As a quick solution for now, I updated the search input to have the correct type, which automatically comes with such a button in Chrome:

It doesn't work on Firefox, but I'm not sure when I'll get some more time to work on this project so I decided to go with this tentative solution for now, until I have a cross-browser one.
